Always a suitable connection

What do floor mats in the car, blood pressure cuffs, and baby diapers have in common? They're all fastened using Binder fastener systems. Because that's our speciality: The reclosable and repositionable fastener systems offer technical fastening solutions for a wide range of industries.
From personal care and medical and orthopaedic technology to automotive, aircraft, transport, industrial supplies, consumer goods and consumer electronics. We're fully committed to making more users enthusiastic about our solutions. With innovative ideas – and with facts and figures that speak for themselves.

Whether it's research & development, marketing and sales, production or administration – we work closely together with competence and commitment. And we're always happy to welcome new members to our big family.

To deliver reliably and guarantee our high quality as well as possible, we produce exclusively at 3 sites in Germany: at the company headquarters in Holzgerlingen and in two factories in Großröhrsdorf.

Products made in Germany are in demand all around the world. In 2024 we supplied our high-tech fastening solutions in 57 countries. Furthermore proximity to our customers is important to us. That's why we've established a direct sales force with local sales representatives in numerous European countries and beyond.

In the mid 50’s: Sole license for Germany to manufacture the Kletten® hook fastener. And not even three years later: Production and sales of our first hook-and-loop fastener Klettostar®, which is still a great success today. Establishing our own toolmaking shop, now fully developed into the Mechanical Engineering & Services division. Product range supplemented by films and profile extrusion. 1995: Our mushroom-in-mushroom fastener Duotec® works as easily as a press stud, clicking audibly and perceptibly into place. 1996: Expansion of our portfolio with our extra thin, micro-extruded hook fastener Microplast®, versatile in use from aircraft to personal care.

Gecko® tape – our bio-inspired world first from 2009 sticks without any adhesive or counterpart and also is available as Gecko® Plus and Gecko® Flex since 2023.

In 2021, with Binder BioHook®, we created a hook fastening solution made of bio-based material for greater sustainability.

And most recently from 2025: our new generation of in-line welding for the personal care industry makes it possible to produce a closure system without adhesives or glues.
